Part Time Unpaid Internship
What part will you play?
Our internship program is designed to provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of and exposure to a working studio environment. The Company makes a special effort to provide the support and training needed to prepare interns to succeed in real-time projects and assignments.
This position is part of a high functioning global team responsible for localizing Warner Bros. content, including some of the biggest franchises in the world; Wizarding World and the DC Universe. The group covers film, television, games, AR/VR and short form content as well as a variety of marketing materials.
The role of the Localization Team Intern will be divided in to two parts:
• Advertising & Publicity Convention Material Coordination
• WB Television Fall Season Launch.
The Localization Team Intern will assist with the prep, planning and scheduling of these two major milestones in our content release year.
Part 1: Theatrical AdPub - Direct to Debut Trailer Production
Support the Theatrical AdPub team to prepare WB Theatrical trailers primarily for convention debuts.This includes, but is not limited to:
• Asset monitoring and tracking for localization
• Facilitate purchase orders
• Set-up project folders and surveys
Part 2: Content Localization – 2019 Fall TV Season Launch Prep
Support the Content Localization Teams prepare for WBTV Fall dubbing and subtitling launches to support global television distribution.
• Organize and track preliminary material requests
• Organize and track accelerated show requests
• Set-up Creative Brief templates for new shows, shared folders, cast lists, etc.
Across the full term of the internship:
• Think big, start small, learn fast
• Bring ideas for change to the conversation
What do we require from you?
• Pursuit of a college degree with emphasis on technology support for media (Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Media, Digital Marketing, or related major).
• Adept with both Mac and PC operating systems, Microsoft Office, and editing software: Final Cut pro, Pro Tools, Playback Pro is desired
• Passion for the entertainment industry.
• Outstanding time management skills to handle multiple and changing priorities.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
Summer 2019 Internships start in June 2019 and are generally 10 weeks long. To be eligible to participate in our internship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must be enrolled in pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university during the entire 10 weeks of the internship.
• Must be available to intern full-time in Burbank, CA from Mondays to Fridays starting June 2019 – September 2019.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to provide own relocation housing and transportation.
• Must be able to provide copy of unofficial transcript.
