Global Franchise at Warner Bros. Discovery is chartered with identifying and driving the maximization of the long-term value of WBD’s beloved and iconic franchise IP. Within Global Franchise, the Fusion team leverages the incredible reach of Warner Bros. Discovery’s powerful portfolio of brands to amplify key business priorities and leverage collaborative business opportunities – whether a film, series, game, branded experience, new business product, or other initiative.
The Vice President, Fusion & Franchise Mobilization plays a key role in supporting the SVP, Portfolio Management in this charter. The position will be responsible for working to help plan, optimize, and report across all owned and earned marketing vehicles. This position will also drive mobilization for WBD's portfolio of Global Priority franchises. A successful leader in this role embraces and drives strategic initiatives across the organization - to achieve business objectives across our Fusion and Franchise priorities. The candidate must be able to work across groups and across all levels of a diverse organization.
Your role accountabilities...
• Work across all Warner Bros. Discovery business units to help develop promotional partnerships that leverage brand strengths for greater marketing clout regardless of IP and/or platform.
• Provide strategic leadership to drive best-in-class WBD campaigns for Fusion priorities across all touchpoints and ensure divisions track results to relevant KPIs.
• In coordination with SVP, lead planning to inform multi-year Fusion and Franchise Global priorities.
For Fusion
• Work with publicity, marketing, and booking teams to ensure successful
• Liaise with Ad Sales and CSR to help manage and ensure successful execution of partner connected strategic initiatives.
• Support and/or manage internal business partner relationships related to content development and/or experiences for Fusion priorities.
• In coordination with O&O team, execute on-air and digital promotion strategy that maximizes both impact and efficiency of available inventory.
• Compile and maintain all annual and quarterly calendars and co-lead monthly Fusion Council meeting
For Franchise
• Lead Franchise mobilization efforts that help to disseminate franchise information across the enterprise
• Lead Franchise operational efforts to ensure the Franchise planning and annual franchise processes are efficient and synchronized
• Drive the management of the annual Franchise Summit and other cross-franchise beats, ranging from Sr Leaders to broad franchise support personnel.
• Manage or co-manage ad hoc and ongoing cross-franchise projects.
• Partner with the EVP and SVP to keep C-level Executives informed on key results.
• Generate executive summaries and assessments to continually report out on successes and learnings; inclusive of data to optimize efforts and programs.
• Consistently exercise judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Qualifications & Experience..
Work Experience
• 10 or more years, in entertainment marketing, brand, or franchise management
• Experience with marketing creative development collateral needs in all platforms
• Ability to derive insight and strategy from data (financial, research, market)
• Highly collaborative
• Project or program management experience
• Operate in a matrixed environment, with the ability to influence without authority stakeholders at all levels of the business in a pragmatic, data-driven and diplomatic way
Education
, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• College degree required
• MBA or similar a plus
Knowledge/Skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and excellent judgment. Able to work effectively with senior level executives and influence at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to convert story and narrative to product and experiences
• Ability to think strategically in planning across consumer touch points
• Excellent project management, prioritization and planning skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong executive presence
• Ability to dive deep into any project or program, not afraid to roll-up one's sleeves
• Proven track-record of managing workflow to meet tight deadlines while handling high volume of work.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive demeanor
• High proficiency with Keynote, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Office suite

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $166,600.00 - $309,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
