• The Job:
• Stage Manager: Studio Production Crew leader, the eyes/ears of the studio for the show Producer/Director, organize crew in terms of show rundown, talent entrance/exit and cue talent when to start/stop performance, camera movement, scenic changes, etc.
• The Daily:
• Handle any and all responsibilities in the studio as they present themselves on a regular basis, and by doing so, ensure the best product for the viewers of TNT productions.
• Studio stage setup and maintenance
• Work with Studio Crew to keep studio clean and organized
• Interface with Engineering department & Studio Supervisor regarding equipment maintenance issues
• Work with technical staff to satisfy production needs for shows, under supervision of Producer, Director & Technical Director
• The Essentials:
• 3-5 years experience as a stage manager or floor director in a live, switched multi-camera television production.
• Highly motivated, collaborative team player who works well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic, live sports environment
• Capability to understand and perform all aspects and duties of a Level 1 Technician, including: Stage Managing, Studio Camera, Teleprompter, Lighting, Video Tape Playback, Video Shading
• Possess detailed knowledge of all studio equipment, sets and technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills required
