Sr. Graphics Software/Unreal Engine (Temporary)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America
The Sr Graphics Software position design s and produce s still graphic s for Live , News Programming. The position often assumes a leadership role when c ommunicat ing with producers and other design team members to fulfill a range of requests. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and leader, able to multi-task , prioritize and fulfill multiple daily news requests . The position p roduce s high-quality design under tight deadlines while maintaining strict accuracy, visual clarity and meets technical standards.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Design/produce still graphics and other design elements as assigned by Graphics Supervisors.
• Effectively evaluate and manage time, resources and deadlines to produce desired products both individually and as part of a team.
• Work with Graphics Supervisors, co-workers and show production staff to determine needs and facilitate execution of projects.
• A cquire and utilize knowledge of equipment operation, production techniques and engineering requirements.
• Proactively makes effective use of downtime, reaching out to help co-workers or learning/enhancing skills as time allows.
Qualifications and Experience…
• At least 3 years experience in design industry
• Degree from accredited art school with emphasis in graphic design, motion design or related field (illustration, photography, industrial design, visual communications) or equivalent work experience.
• Track record of outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams under pressure.
• Champions working in a diverse, collaborative environment and is willing to train and assist other designers on various levels. Actively contribute to overall positive and creative atmosphere of the department.
• Excellent computer, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Expert level at Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc ).
