WBD Sports - Olympics Production Logistics Assistant (Third Party Temporary Games Time Opportunity for Paris 2024)

Your New Role…
Reporting to the Production Logistics Manager as part of the Olympics Operations team, your role will be to support with logistics scheduling, organising equipment and production supply orders.
This opportunity is offered on a temporary basis for approximately 4 weeks between July-August 2024. This role will be supporting WBD's coverage of the Games, therefore evenings, weekend work and unsocial work patterns are likely during this period.
Please note that this is a temporary opportunity and for the duration of this contract you will be engaged by a third party agency partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery. You will not be an employee of, or directly engaged by, Warner Bros. Discovery.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Organise the pulling and staging of technical and non-technical equipment and production supply orders from the WBD Warehouse; coordinate the delivery to and from Olympic competition and non-competition venues
• Warehouse duties (packing and wrapping deliveries and pallets, loading and unloading trucks)
• Attend Olympic venue deliveries with truck drivers.
• Equipment sourcing by researching and contacting local, French suppliers
• Tracking our internal equipment by using the dedicated WBD asset tracking system
• General admin and office duties (delivery notes, venue bookings, invoices, parcels)
Qualifications
and Experience…
• Relevant training will be given, but logistics scheduling and customer service experience from large sporting events will be an advantage
• Prepared to work in a warehouse and carry out physical work
• Competent with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Fluent French speaker with strong oral and written communication skills, as well as a good understanding of oral and written English
• A valid driving license and confidence at driving is an asset
