Sports Digital Journalist, Warner Bros. Discovery, Remote (GA).

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a versatile and innovative Digital Journalist to drive the success of its digital properties covering college sports. This role writes, edits, produces, and delivers a wide range of sports content, including reading, editing, and posting contributed material from press releases, staff writers, and freelancers.

Responsibilities include selecting, prioritizing, editing, and publishing content across owned/operated and external platforms; ensuring grammatical accuracy and factual correctness; updating data-driven content such as NCAA Championship brackets and polls; and crafting effective headlines and teases for desktop, mobile, newsletters, and partner platforms. The role uses audience analytics tools such as Chartbeat and Omniture to track performance and inform programming decisions.

The Digital Journalist collaborates with video producers to incorporate video content and coordinate live streaming, works with internal teams and partners to keep championship and microsite content accurate and current, and reports and troubleshoots operational issues as they arise. Travel may be required to provide on-site coverage for sporting events including NCAA tournaments and championships. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
