Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is calling on skilled and passionate technicians to join our Set Lighting Department as an Electrical Maintenance Technician. In this hands-on role, you'll be at the heart of the action, managing, modifying, and repairing the lighting equipment that brings our productions to life. From blockbuster films to high-end TV dramas, you'll ensure our rental lighting gear is in top condition and ready to perform on set. Your Role Accountabilities...
• Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge in electronics and lighting
• Setting up electronic systems and devices
• Assembling and connecting system components
• Modifying and repairing electronic products
• Repairing malfunctions in circuitry
• Understanding of comprehending manuals and circuit diagrams
• Inspection and maintenance of all electronic products
• Check all returning stock for quality control
• Managing cost reports and inventory reports
• Bar code equipment and put WB identification markers on the equipment.
• Managing repair costings and approvals
Qualifications & Experiences...
• An industry-recognised qualification in electronics
• High knowledge of new lighting technologies in the market
• Previous experience with Film and Television lighting equipment is advantageous, but training can be provided.
• Experience with manual handling lighting equipment and loading vehicles
• Computer literate, with the ability to use Excel, Word, and Outlook confidently
• Experience using a computer-based rental system (training can be provided).
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
