We're looking for a technically minded problem-solver to join our Engineering team, providing hands-on support across our iconic Soho Square and brand new Greek Street locations. If you're passionate about technology and enjoy tackling everything from system troubleshooting to major installations, this is your chance to play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences for our clients and creative teams.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Assist with engineering support, system configuration and technical changes within screening, picture and sound departments.
• Maintain, update and troubleshoot production hardware and software to ensure reliable operation.
• Uphold the highest technical, operational and security standards throughout the facility.
• Support the calibration of broadcast monitors, cinema projectors and audio systems.
• Deliver installation, configuration and technical assistance for cutting rooms and client systems.
• Provide technical support for staff, clients and production sessions.
• Work closely with operational and management teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services and minimise disruption.
• Provide cover in operating the screening theatres when the projectionist is not available.
• Be part of the team of Fire Wardens to assist in ensuring the safety of all personnel on site.
Qualifications & Experiences...
• Operational support experience with Linux-based FilmLight Baselight and Autodesk Flame systems.
• Strong understanding of digital cinema equipment, industry standards and post-production workflows.
• Demonstrable expertise in picture monitor and projector technologies, including calibration.
• Ability to perform audio monitor line-ups for mix stage environments.
• Solid IT skills covering workstation assembly, configuration, troubleshooting and networking.
• Proven experience supporting shared media storage platforms, including Avid Nexis, DDP, StorNext and GPFS.
• Experience working effectively within a fast-paced post-production environment.
• Good working knowledge of Linux, macOS and computer networking principles.
• Familiarity with video and audio standards, together with supporting broadcast and post-production infrastructure.
• Good understanding of current MPAA security standards and best practices.
