PAT Tester, Set Lighting Department

Ever wondered what powers the lights on a blockbuster film set? Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is looking for a passionate and hands-on PAT Tester to support our Set Lighting department. In this role, you'll help ensure our electrical equipment is safe and ready for action, whether it's heading out to a production or returning to the warehouse. You'll also be playing a key role in supporting the Lighting Warehouse team, assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment to keep productions running smoothly

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Conduct PAT Testing – carry out electrical safety tests according to established procedures and regulations.
• Equipment Inspection – inspect electrical equipment for any signs of damage, wear, or defects that may affect electrical safety.
• Documentation and Reporting – maintain accurate records of all PAT testing activities, including test results, dates, and any necessary documentation.
• Bar code equipment and put WB identification markers on the equipment.
• Report any damaged equipment to the Supervisor.
• Maintain the warehouse.
• Undertake stock takes.

Qualifications & Experiences...
• Experience with manual handling lighting equipment and loading vehicles
• Previous experience with Film and Television lighting equipment is advantageous.
• Consistently looking to improve processes within all operations departments and across the company as a whole.
• Knowledge of computer systems.

Warner Bros. Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for productions and is home to The WonderWorks, a bespoke childcare facility available to those working on site.

With a range of services including an on-site gym, café, and wellbeing room, WBSL provides the perfect home for productions and has become the studio of choice for many filmmakers worldwide.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
