Your New Role...
Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a high-performing team member to be the bridge between the Food Network digital team and the Food Network Magazine editorial team, working on magazine content with both staffs. In this hybrid role, this team member helps create magazine content and then distribute it across FN's digital channels. This position reports to the Senior Editor, FoodNetwork.com and splits time between working at WBD's digital offices and occasionally the Food Network Magazine offices. This person must work collaboratively with members of Food Network's digital team and Food Network Magazine's editorial teams.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Build content from Food Network Magazine on FoodNetwork.com in a timely, accurate way using SEO best practices and an understanding of food content
• Work with editors to develop and execute web-exclusive content to supplement print content
• Update Food Network Magazine package on FoodNetwork.com to promote new content from each issue
• Write and assist editors with digital-first content creation for Foodnetwork.com
• Write and edit stories as assigned for the magazine
• Liaise between digital staff and magazine editors to ensure successful placement and promotion of content between the magazine and website
• Provide the magazine editors with new and upcoming digital content to promote throughout the magazine
• Work with marketing and public relations teams to promote magazine content/subscription offers via newsletters, social media and other channels
• Produce and promote online polls or surveys for reader feedback as requested by magazine editors
Qualifications
and Experience...
• 1 – 2 years working in food/lifestyle editorial content
• Knowledge of web and mobile technologies, media production, web design, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize large and diverse workload to meet deadlines
• Initiative to work independently and proactively, and ability to assess and prioritize information
• Strong writing skills, specifically to fit the voice of the overall brand/site strategy
• Ability to manage and thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
• Knowledge of primary research, writing, editing, and copy style
• Advanced attention to detail
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $50,050.00 - $92,950.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
