WBD Sports - Olympics Operations Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract until September 2024)

Your New Role...
Reporting to the Director, Olympic Operations this rol e will be responsible for supporting a busy operations team and managing d ay to day administration tasks necessary to deliver WBD Sports broadcast requirements for Paris 2024.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Provide support as required to the wider Operations team in preparation for Paris; tasks may include, but are not limited to:
• Support the finance process, creating Purchase Orders, reconciling and tracking invoices.
• Liasing with internal departments including Operations, Engineering and Production as required.
• Working with enginee ring and production teams to support in distribution and tracking of kit lists for games time.
• Preparation of documents as needed by the team, including t racking documents and presentations.
• Maintaining team timelines.
• Schedule, organi s e and book meetings as needed by the team.
Once on site for the event, responsibilities may include:
• Assisting the production and engineering team in IBC as needed
• Working in co-operation with the Broadcast Venue Manager to produce daily production schedules
• Management and distribution of venue access devices
• Assisting venue manager and IBC teams with the distribution of venue FF&E
• Suppor ting the Production Logistics team with venue load in and load out operations
• Liaising with broadcasters and other locally hired personnel etc.
Qualiifications & Experience...
• Ability to speak fluently French and English and to communicate well when writing in both languages.
• Previous experience desirable of working in Production / Venue Management with large teams preferably on major sports events.
• A sound knowledge of, and ability to use, internationally accepted IT programmes
• WBD Sports will be work ing with broadcasters from various European countries a knowledge of other languages would prove useful.
• Able to be in Paris for the duration of the games
