Your New Role…
The Manager of Multicultural Marketing is an integral role of the Marketing and Publicity team at Warner Bros. Pictures. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic marketer who will lead multicultural publicity campaigns. The role will support all publicity, promotion and marketing efforts geared towards Multicultural film audiences (African American, Latinx and AAPI) with a hyper focus on African American publicity outreach.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Consult and contribute to overall Multicultural campaign publicity strategy, direction, and ideation.
• Work closely with Multicultural Marketing Agencies on publicity efforts while also working directly with established press contacts.
• Establish strong working relationships with broader WB theatrical publicity team with constant communication and management of campaign deadlines; effectively work cross-departmentally on campaigns and communicate effectively with high level executives across marketing disciplines.
• Maintain and manage multicultural press relationships and contacts with a focus in the African American media space.
• Oversee campaign timelines, status reports and overviews for team, management and filmmakers.
• Responsible for supporting publicity team when needed, including working junkets, premieres, and special events.
• Lead and manage promotional and Word of Mouth screening programs (alongside agencies) with organizations and media partners.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and bridge work gaps in the department as needed.
Qualifications
& Experience…
• Must have 5+ years work experience at a studio or public relations agency
• Knowledge of field publicity and processes
• Must have 5+ years publicity/promotions work experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro required (Creative Suite helpful).
• Knowledge of mobile platforms helpful; specifically in the multicultural press and publicity space.
• Knowledge of the studios or previous studio experience
• Expertise in all things pop culture
• Must be tactful with personnel at all levels of company.
• Must have good attention to details, maintain confidentiality, problem-solve (within scope of responsibility).
• Must be a proficient writer and clear written communicator in order to compile marketing assets, reports, manuals, etc.
• Must be able to maintain current and accurate records, files, etc. and have general knowledge of standard filing procedures.
• Must have exceptional organization and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Candidate must be able to think on their feet, quickly pivot and juggle multiple high priority projects at one time.
• Ability/flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $72,247.00 - $134,172.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
