Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment is seeking an experienced individual in the Themed Entertainment industry to manage multiple high-profile licensees around the world and implement and execute strategies for long term growth in Global Themed Entertainment (GTE) category. This motivated, high-capacity individual will be able to balance the business objectives of the company with the creative development of world class projects all while working with some of the worlds best known and most beloved characters from the worlds of Harry Potter, DC, Looney Tunes, Discovery, Game of Thrones, Hanna-Barbera and more.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with EVP & VP on developing territory strategy. Collaborate with in-territory colleagues to meet GTE goals and support territory goals
• Effectively communicate, promote, and advocate for GTE strategy and goals
• Supports both short-term and long-term GTE strategies in order to maximize revenue and brand exposure. Utilizing industry knowledge, determines appropriate business opportunities based on licensee experience, market share, creative ability, financial proposal, speed to market and overall fit within GTE portfolio of themed experiences
• Manages all aspects of current GTE accounts from pitching properties and contract negotiation to servicing the day-to-day business needs of licensees including input and oversight of creative approvals through Box and in direct consultation with Creative team, procurement of creative assets including style guides, marketing updates, property research, legal approvals, and public relations support
• Works closely with key internal stakeholders (Franchise Marketing, PR, Legal, Finance, Product Development, and Brand Assurance) along with sister divisions (Studio Facilities, WBTV, WBIE, WBHE, Theatrical Promotions) to ensure consistent brand/franchise and strategy alignment, communication on necessary approvals and marketing activations, and asset requests
• Evaluates business opportunities including managing the due diligence process on potential licensees, analyzing market & competition, as well as the size of the financial opportunity, and best business model. Analyzes and negotiates deal points in conjunction with VP and other key internal stakeholders.
• Works with VP in establishing, managing, and achieving financials goals, providing significant input in overall short-term and long-range budget targets, as well as assists in all forecasts/business reviews and monitors financial results to ensure revenues meet budgetary goals
• In collaboration with the GTE territory leads, communicates key account activity to international stakeholders including general licensee updates, current negotiations and pitches, financial forecasts, and long-term plans
• Attends tradeshows and visits licensees as needed to review and update experiences and provide strategic direction
• Performs other related duties, research, and special projects as assigned
• Will work closely with EVP & VP on large projects as needed
• Works with other department team members that manage the merchandise, live show & character programs
SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE
10 years experience in themed entertainment or related experience required
Knowledge of themed entertainment industry. Must have ability to organize and prioritize work, prepare and present written and oral presentations. Manage relationships, communicate with clients, licensees, and management to determine needs and solve problems. Knowledge of Warner Bros. IP a plus

• Expertise of theme park, location-based entertainment or themed entertainment industry
• Must have ability to organize and prioritize work
• Must have proven and effective presentation skills and the ability to prepare written and oral presentations
• Must be able to communicate effectively with licensees, vendors and management to determine needs and solve problems
• Ability to manage and foster relationships both internally and externally
• Must have effective and proven attention to detail skills to manage the many facets of the project
• Experience managing world renowned intellectual properties
• Knowledge of the Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, DC, Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera properties
• Familiarity with developing creative themes
• Knowledgeable in Mac & Microsoft based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
