Role Overview:
This role provides comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the President of Production, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and alignment across the broader team. The role involves managing complex scheduling and travel, overseeing project tracking systems, and facilitating communication with senior leaders, talent, and external partners. The Executive Assistant acts as a central point of coordination, ensuring priorities are managed effectively, confidential information is handled with discretion, and the team is supported in driving key projects forward.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the President.
* Manage delegation of responsibilities among executives and assistants, including reading assignments and VIP recognition coordination.
* Maintain internal project tracking tools and serve as a liaison with Senior Leadership offices.
* Track project materials, incoming submissions, and other high-priority requests.
* Manage an extremely active and shifting calendar across time zones and high-level stakeholders.
* Handle confidential materials and liaise with producers, talent, and internal studio departments (Story, Business Affairs, Production, Post, and Marketing/Distribution).
* Arrange complex domestic and international travel, hotel bookings, and itineraries.
* Draft, edit, and prepare written communications, presentations, and research materials.
* Serve as the first point of contact for talent, executives, and high-level visitors.
* Provide general office management support to ensure smooth operations.
* Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Prior executive assistant experience at the senior executive level is required.
* Previous experience in the entertainment industry working with talent, filmmakers, and agents is required.
* Experience in development or production at a studio or production company is strongly preferred.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
* Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and/or Keynote is preferred.
* Strong interest in scripts and general film knowledge is required.
* Familiarity with agencies, producers, and the film community is required.
* Working knowledge of feature writers and directors is strongly desired.
* Strong written and verbal communication and excellent attention to detail are expected.
* Solid knowledge of math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage is expected.
Compensation:
In compliance with local law, the compensation range for this role is \$35,978.00 – \$66,816.00 annually. Actual salaries will vary based on market data, internal equity, experience, and performance. Additional rewards may include bonuses, incentives, and program-specific awards.
