The executive assistant provides administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Production.
Your Role Responsibilities...
• Arrange executive calendar or schedules meetings, independently or as directed.
• Manage submission logs and production slate grids.
• Maintain various files, records, indexes and phone logs.
• Format writer, director & actor lists for projects based on supervisor's discretion.
• Coordinate international & domestic travel & hotel accommodations for executives, writers, producers, and directors.
• Prepare expense reports and travel authorizations and follow through.
• Greet clients, talent, creative staff & executives.
• Respond to inquiries, order supplies and handle specific assignments.
• Exercise discretion and act as gatekeeper filtering incoming calls and screening incoming emails and information.
• Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
• Regularly correspond with networks, studios, talent, agents, managers, producers, etc. on behalf of SVP.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience...
• Minimum 2-year previous assistant experience.
• Previous experience in motion picture creative development at a studio, production co or agency.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College Degree preferred.
• Typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PC and MAC required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
• Familiarity with agents/agencies, producers, and film community in general.
• Working knowledge of Feature Writers and Directors strongly desired.
• Strong interest in scripts and general film knowledge preferred.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, prioritize, and schedule work effectively.
• Ability to be proactive and flexible, personable, and able to interact with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to work some overtime as needed.
