The Director, Publicity is responsible for individually formulating and executing consumer publicity campaigns for scripted series produced and/or distributed by Warner Bros. Television Group.Your Role Accountabilities...
Publicity Strategy: Devise innovative publicity opportunities aimed at driving consistent, high-value consumer press attention for assigned series. Brainstorm new initiatives and also capitalize on existing assets (casting, series storylines, etc.). Work closely with streaming/cable/network publicity counterparts and WBTVG social media teams to execute campaigns for launch and beyond. Create and execute awards campaign strategies for assigned series.Media Relations: Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with members of the press. Understand media desires and craft compelling pitches to all external outlets. Exercise judgment in deciding which opportunities to pursue, ensuring that Studio objectives are met.Brand Management/Talent Relations: Serves as key point person for series, represents assigned series to stakeholders, and serves as publicity brand manager for all show information. Establishes close working relationships and positive rapport with talent, creators, and staff associated with assigned series, including executive producers, key production crew, on-camera performers, and representatives.Events: Plans and executes participation in major promotional events, in-person and virtually. Works with social and photo teams to ensure coordinated and strategic plans for covering special events.Publicity Trips: Books and manages all aspects of performer and/or producer publicity trips (New York, Los Angeles, special events, tours, Upfronts, etc.).Specialized Media Outreach: Works across the publicity team to maximize press opportunities for all Warner Bros. Television Group programming regarding targeted press opportunities (multicultural, faith-based, young adult, music, etc.).Social Media: Follows best practices and strategies for social media platforms. Works closely with social media team to ensure coordinated outreach across all platforms on behalf of series and talent.Publicity Assets: Strategizes with the team to select the most compelling video clips, photos, and other promotional/publicity materials that fulfill media needs and best represent series to viewers and other targeted audiences.Other job-related duties or projects as assigned.Qualifications and Experience...
• Minimum 8+ years entertainment publicity experience required.Education
, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• College degree or equivalent work experience requiredKnowledge/Skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of entertainment industry required.
• Extensive entertainment consumer press contacts required.
• Experience effectively working with and successfully building positive relationships with high-profile on-camera talent and producers.
• Must have strong understanding of social media and be an active participant on leading platforms.
• Proficiency with remote working technology (Teams, WebEx, Zoom, Google Hangout, etc.) required.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
• Must be well organized.
• Must have the ability to work additional hours as needed.
• Must possess exemplary organizational skills.
• Must possess excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to maintain a cheerful disposition in a fast-paced environment and during stressful times.
• Must be able to review and comprehend detailed documents.

The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $111,112.00 - $206,350.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
