Director, Production Management — Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
This role is central to shaping the remote production management team for Warner Bros. Discovery’s sports properties, including NHL, NCAA March Madness, Roland Garros, NASCAR, and others. It focuses heavily on team leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration across technical, production, and league operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
• Manage a team of 9 production managers and coordinators
• Oversee workflows across multiple sports and live events
• Ensure balanced scheduling and equitable responsibilities
• Align team objectives with senior content leadership vision
• Conduct stakeholder feedback reviews and implement improvements
• Lead on-site logistics for tentpole events
Cross-Team Communication & Planning
• Serve as day-to-day contact for sports leagues
• Manage dissemination of logistical updates across internal teams
• Lead planning meetings across TNT Sports divisions
• Coordinate with technical operations, crewing, engineering, and production teams
• Create and share comprehensive production plans
Budget Oversight
• Manage $80M production budget across games and studio shows
• Audit and validate production manager submissions
• Track deadlines for budget finalization and forecasting
• Report financials and variances to Senior Director
Qualifications
