Warner Bros. Distributing Inc. seeks a Director, International Marketing, Latin America for the International Marketing department. Under direction of VP Marketing Latin America, the Director, International Marketing position is responsible for communicating and tailoring the strategy of each film to each of the markets in the region; also communicates back to Home Office a Latin America specific strategy and provides the markets with the tools needed to better execute their campaigns.
The position is also responsible for the localization and approval processes of all creative materials in Latin American Spanish, thus speaking native Spanish is key. Additionally, role supports the VP of Marketing with supervising the media/advertising strategy and executions at a regional and local level.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Work with each territory to ensure they understand the global strategy by film early in the marketing process, and that all territories are fully aligned
• Work with VP of LATAM Marketing to identify and develop regional strategic & communication pillars to ensure territory nuances and opportunities are considered and properly communicated to Home Office
• Work with the VP of LATAM Marketing and the International Media Team to present periodically the global/regional strategy to the regional media agency and regional media partners; and approve the creative executions and overall details of such media plans and comment on strategy considerations by film
• Work with the VP Marketing Latin America in the review, monitoring, coordination, strategy, planning, and implementation of media plans and creative advertising/marketing campaigns across all WB Latin America markets, such as big out of home stunts, especial TV placements, etc
• In preparation for talent tours, comic cons or other events, work with the local market and Home Office, Creative/Tech ops to determine/approve all creative executions during these events: red carpet, special screenings, experiential activations, and junkets, and attend these events as needed to oversee the execution
• Manage the regional localization agency and the localization of all print and AV materials including posters, trailers, TV spots, featurettes, and clips, ensuring their quality and timely delivery for both Spanish and Portuguese. Track and approve bills for each film and oversee the Administrator LATAM Marketing in tracking and organizing all materials to ensure the territories and WBD business units can easily find and access them.
• Work with the VP Latam Marketing in finding partnership opportunities with other Warner Bros. Discovery business units in Latin America to promote WB films in their platforms and channels
• Manage the entire title localization and approval process for Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese titles, including collecting titles from territories, circulating to the Latin America regional Marketing and Distribution teams for review and approval, and routing final titles to the SVP of Distribution for approval
• Participate in weekly or bi-weekly conference calls with territories to conduct a review of plans for upcoming films. Responsible for materials updates during these calls
• Work with VP Latin America on special presentations, projects or regional conferences as required
• Travel to territories as needed and as requested by the Regional Marketing VP to assist territories with creative executions, strategy or events issues and training
Qualifications and Experience…
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• University degree preferred.
• 6 – 8 years' experience in marketing, strategy, advertising, and experience with creative advertising required; Experience in theatrical marketing either at a regional level or in market
• Native fluency in Spanish (required); Working knowledge of Portuguese
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook/Entourage required; Knowledge of Apple ''Keynote'' program preferred
• Familiarity and comfort with multiple computer tasks are essential
• Must have knowledge of file set-up, maintenance, filing procedures, basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, English usage and report and letter formats
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with people on all levels, in person, video conference and on the telephone
• Must have excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
• Strong creative eye and intuition, attention to detail, and follow through
• A self-starter and an independent critical thinker
• Must be able/willing to travel internationally and to work in international settings
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and a fast-paced environment

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
