Salary Information:
• Salary Range: $47,466.00 - $88,150.00 per year.

Experience and Education Requirements:
• Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years in editorial book publishing.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS degree preferred.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
• Position: Editor.
• Company: Warner Bros. Discovery.
• Role Overview: Responsible for developing new ideas, working with writers, and interfacing with editorial counterparts at publishing houses. Manages a list of approximately 10-15 titles per year with minimal supervision, including providing edits, writing outlines and promotional copy, and maintaining schedules.
• Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and edit 10-15 titles per year, provide detailed edits and outlines for authors.
- Pitch and develop original story and property ideas with a goal of selling 4 original projects per year.
- Initiate and maintain relationships with writers, editors, publishers, and agents.
- Perform additional duties as required.
• Objective: To effectively manage and develop a diverse range of book projects, ensuring high-quality publications that meet market demands and tight deadlines.
