Your New Role..
HGTV is seeking a talented and versatile Associate Producer to join the Brand Creative team. In this role, you would be responsible for creating and executing promotional campaigns for HGTV, working alongside a team of Writer/Producers and multiple stakeholders (Strategy, Design, Operations, Production Partners et al.), under the direction of the Creative Director. You would also serve a pivotal role in supporting senior team members in the execution and completion of their projects. You are a creative self-starter with strong editorial, writing and production skills. You not only demonstrate a drive and passion for creating fresh, innovative content that pushes creative boundaries, you are equally adept at supporting fellow team members and the department at large in meeting its goals and objectives.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Concept, write and produce breakthrough on-air promotions, including clip-driven spots, episodics, and talent focused assets
• Manage the completion of spots, including versioning, tagging, final delivery and supervising the layoff of masters
• Ensure assigned projects are delivered on-time while maintaining highest standards of quality and accuracy
• Set up and execute post-production schedules
• Screen and log/compile footage for edits
• Oversee video editing and mix sessions
• Direct and oversee voice over talent
• Maintain brand ''look and feel'' across all projects and platforms
• Liaise with Promo Strategy, Production, Operations and other departments to ensure required delivery
• Collaborate with in-house design team in the creation, execution and delivery of graphics for spots
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to help ensure delivery and archiving of shoot footage
• Pitch fresh ideas during team brainstorming sessions (i.e. shoot concepts, key art, show titles etc.)
• Serve as the go-to team member for auxiliary and overflow projects
Qualifications and Experience...
• Skilled creative writer who can conceive, script and execute an idea
• Able to generate ideas for clip-driven and conceptual spots and develop multiple creative executions for all assigned projects
• Must have experience working in a post-production environment and directing editors, graphic designers, audio engineers, and voice-over talent
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production setting, managing multiple projects at once with ease
• Knowledge of editing and graphics applications and hardware (i.e. Avid, Adobe Premiere, Adobe CS)
• Adept at executing a vision, including addressing notes in a timely manner to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, multi-tasking and asking for help when necessary
• A resourceful and proactive thinker with creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Bachelor Degree in related discipline and at least 3-4 years of experience in TV or in a related field
• Proficient working both remotely and in-person with Outlook, Microsoft Excel/Word, Box, Zoom
• Mac or PC background with demonstrated proficiency on either platform
• Fluency in Avid, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Suite and/or editing/graphics software a valuable plus

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $45,920.00 - $85,280.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
