As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will support the delivery of commercial performance across product categories and sales channels. This role plays a key part in ensuring the right product is available at the right time, supporting trading decisions, managing stock, and providing data-driven insights that help maximise sales, margin, and customer experience.
Based in Leavesden, UK, you will work closely with Buying, Planning, Supply Chain, Digital, Marketing, and Retail/Wholesale teams across our WB. Studio Tours & Retail group while supporting product and channel trading activity.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Support weekly and monthly trading reviews by preparing reports, analysing performance, and highlighting key trends.
• Monitor sales, margin, stock, and sell-through across assigned product areas and channels.
• Identify risks and opportunities, recommending actions to improve performance.
• Ensure product launches, promotions, and markdowns are executed accurately.
• Support the Merchandiser in delivering channel-specific range plans and trading actions.
• Monitor availability, fulfilment, and customer experience metrics for the channel.
• Collaborate with Buying, Design, Ecom, Retail, & Wholesale teams, to ensure product accuracy and visibility.
Qualifications & Experience
• Prior experience in a merchandising role within high street or supermarket retail.
• Strong Excel capability and confidence working with merchandising data and reporting.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support forecasting activity.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in product, customers, and retail trends.
• Experience contributing to sales and margin performance through merchandising, trading, forecasting, line flow, or stock management activities.
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
