Intern - Marketing/A&R

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

We currently have several unpaid internship positions available that we will be looking to fill in the next few weeks. Please take some time to read over everything before you apply.

Seeking:
Extremely talented and driven Marketing / A&R interns who are current college undergraduates (seniors only) or recent graduates (from a 4 year university) that are interested in pursuing a career in the music /entertainment industry.

If chosen for a position you will be working closely with our company's marketing & A&R teams. By the end of internship, you will have gained a rare set of digital skills using industry-leading platforms and techniques for marketing, community development, social media optimization and much more. The position requires that you are in our Hollywood office for at least 20 hours a week. If commuting is going to be a problem then please do not apply.

In order to be considered for this position, you should be familiar with the following:

• EDM (Electronic Dance Music) – The top 20 DJs/Acts (Trance, Techno, drum and bass, drumstep Electro, dubstep, brostep, down tempo, abstract, dance, house, progressive, etc..)
• The major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, YouTube, Google )
• Our website
• Our Blog
• Blogging (Platforms include: Wordpress, Blogspot, Tumblr)
• Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Photoshop
BONUS
• Photo/ Video Editing Software
• If you have your own laptop or DSLR/HD video camera

Contact us if you:
• Are an undergraduate (seniors only please) / recently graduated student living in the LA area: majoring in Music Business, Business, Marketing, PR, Multimedia, or any other related field.
• Have a smartphone with email, text and app capabilities.
• Have a laptop or computer (That you can use at work to start) (We have computers if you don’t have a laptop but this is a big plus at least for the start)
• Social Media Savvy (Facebook, twitter, Google , YouTube)
• Love learning fast and can take initiative when given freedom (you will have to be able to keep up)
• Are very savvy online and aren't afraid to admit it
• Have a blog or have wanted to start one because you are a great writer with an active mind
• RARELY have a bad day/come up with lame excuses/are late to meetings/whine about traffic on the 405 (If I can make it then so can you).
• Listen to music, go to shows, watch films and stay updated on news, gigs, festivals, etc. (basically, you know ''what's up'')

• If you can't be in Hollywood 3 days a week for at least 6 hours a day. (Do not apply if you live more than 45 miles away. We don’t really want people commuting from far away because we can’t pay for your gas and your commute is your problem.)
