As a member a Customer Service Team, you receive the following letter from a customer. Please read the letter below and compose a response that addresses the customers concerns and responds to their request for how you propose to both correct the situation and prevent a similar situation from recurring
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to let you know about the terrible service I received from your company on June 12. Per my initial complaint – the flooring installation was a complete wreck – uneven in some places, hammer marks in others, black marks on the walls. Mr. Fixit and I had set up a 9 AM service call for the 12th. To begin with Mr. Fixit was 90 minutes late for his appointment and offered no apology when he finally arrived. Your representative didn't even remove his muddy shoes when he entered my house, and consequently left a trail of dirt in the carpet in the hallway. Mr. Fixit took some pictures and when I pointed out some problems he had missed, he tried to minimize them and even suggested ''they weren't so bad.''
I am really annoyed that I wasted a morning (and half a day's vacation) waiting for Mr. Fixit to show up. My impression of your Company has been tarnished, and I really don't trust your company to make the proper repairs. Furthermore, Mr. Fixit's inability to remove his muddy shoes meant that I had to engage the services, and incur the expense, of a professional carpet cleaner.
I trust this is not the way that your company wishes to conduct business with valued customers. I welcome the opportunity to discuss matters further and to learn of how you propose to both correct the situation and prevent a similar situation from recurring. I look forward to hearing from you.
