Manager, Marketing Production (Disney Channels Worldwide)
Job Summary:
Walt Disney Television is seeking a Production Manager with the ability to manage several projects concurrently for the Marketing Production team at Disney Channels Worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all video marketing projects as assigned - serve as project lead from inception of project through production and delivery, shepherding the content through each step of the process. This role is expected to lead franchise and partnership projects with clients and as assigned. This is inclusive of on-air interstitials, off-air sizzle videos, and some work on events and experiences for live audiences.
• Ensure that vendors and partners follow department guidelines and technical specs to deliver all deliverables for every spot per our Guidelines and Procedures.
• Communicate to team daily on status of all assigned projects. Understand and track all information regarding assigned projects. Schedule and lead meetings to address production strategies and production issues, and represent the interests of the productions under their guidance.
• Route all project creative to relevant parties, including internal creative team, executives, Legal, Standards & Practices and internal Disney line of business clients.
• Create schedules and budgets with vendors that meet each project's needs and due dates. Partner with the Short Form Production team to enforce budgets and schedules.
• Manage communication to and from clients, understanding their business needs from a marketing standpoint, as well as managing their expectations balanced with the content guidelines of Walt Disney Television.
• Manage production companies from conception of project to finalizing in post. Responsible for communicating and managing all details of projects with candor and clarity - this includes shoots and post-production. Serve as primary liaison between internal team, client and vendor.
• Responsible for the organization, collection and retrieval of video and other assets for managers, producers and production companies to various clients, executives, producers and departments. This will include clip pulls and electronic links for distribution.
• Supervise the coordinator on daily project-based tasks including: creating work orders, updating project database and management in person on status, collecting chargeback codes from clients, interfacing with Business Affairs, collecting all assets after a project is complete, tracking project costs and submitting invoices for payment, and tracking all of each project's deliverables for archive.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
Minimum 5 years combined experience in the following areas:
• Network/Cable Television
• Production Company/Studio
• Line production, shoot management
• Post-production and delivery
• Commercials, On-Air Promotions, Interstitials, Music Videos, Shorts, Digital - Platforms, Long-form
Minimum 1 year hands on people management/direct reports. Required
Minimum 2 years client management experience or relationship management

• Experience in delegating both to internal reports as well as shared service partners.
• Creatively additive to the process. Ability to add creative input.
• Ability to source and create opportunities for efficiency in all areas of the production process.
• General understanding and familiarity with the Disney Channel family of brands and content.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in media related field or equivalent work experience
