Director, Integrated Planning (Disney Channels)
Job Summary:

The Brand Development and Integrated Planning at Disney Channels Worldwide is responsible for creating the marketing and franchise strategies behind some of the most world's most beloved kids' television shows coming from the Disney Channel and Disney Junior such as Mickey Roadster Racers, Elena of Avalor to Descendants and Zombies. The position interfaces with many departments of Disney Channel and our new Disney Plus platform.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the brand positioning and marketing strategies for all Disney Channel series and movie launches to effectively drive maximum reach and awareness to help drive overall ratings success.
• Lead and manage the Integrated Planning Process which involves leading strategy meetings and proactively set agenda and goals with the various departments including programming, on-air creative, paid media, social, PR, and YouTube to align on key campaign pillars and ensure it adheres to overarching marketing strategy.
• Being a Disney Channel content expert and proactively identify opportunities to create innovative and eventized marketing campaigns to align with the Integrated Plan.
• Oversee the Integrated Planning Tracker which includes managing and tracking the timelines for series pilots from script to green light and production that will inform key stakeholders of timing for the Integrated Planning.
• Lead the music strategy and creation of music videos for campaign launches including talent integration, platform strategy and timelines. Work closely with Programming on launch timing and with Walt Disney Records on the Vevo and streaming strategy.
• Create 360 sustain marketing campaigns that support multi-million dollar franchise properties by proactively identifying windows and align with various departments including programming, social, paid media, PR and YouTube to drive franchise success.
• Partner and support the Disney platform on developing the brand positioning and integrated plans for Disney Channel content.
• Manage and mentor a dynamic team by creating clear roles and responsibilities to meet deadlines and drive results.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years' work experience with brand strategy, marketing strategy, integrated planning, or similar areas of experience.
• Strategic thinker
• Proficient at creating presentations using Keynote is required and setting up and presenting high level presentations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently following a project from beginning to end
• Professional demeanor and experience working in corporate or professional work environment
• Bachelor's Degree is required and an MBA Degree is preferred
• Previous experience with Youtube and Social Media content distribution
• Previous management experience required
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment and consistently meet deadlines
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects
• Solutions-oriented individual who continually strives to improve process
• Passion for the kids entertainment and tween brand
Required Education
• Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience
