Coordinator, Assets (Freeform)
Job Summary:
The Coordinator of Assets provides backup for Short Form Production, which includes all marketing groups for FREEFORM including Ad Sales and International. This position maintains a traffic database, manages archives and distributes digital files via electronic transmission between various creative groups and vendors for use in promotions and other short form productions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming assets for storage and distribution, including tapes, drives and digital deliveries, and enters the activity into the data base
• Distribute assets to vendors and post houses using various digital delivery systems
• Copy all FreeForm dailies deliveries (drive-to-drive transfer) to a backup drive for archiving
• Intake and tracking of Short Form Production shoot material, which will sometimes require special handling for embargo dates and other similar restrictions
• Enter Rough Cuts and Final promos to ''URL'' links to all finished promos in On-Air Pro
• Cross-check and reconcile third party post billing
• Coordinate courier service requests
• Source digital assets using JellyRoll, WMLS, MRM, MediaPulse and Mediator
• Distribute digital files via Media MonoRail, Disney SendIt and RelayIt
• Research and implement new systems for storage and digital deliveries (i.e Adstream)
• Assist in operations using Avid Media Composer
• Create Media MonoRail accounts and submit Vendor Security checks
• Generate delivery requests from LAC, our long-term storage facility
• Coordinate loading Micro Content and providing processing assets to social media groups
• Show excellent judgment when answering requests for assets, making sure the requestor is allowed access to the material and that it's being sent within the Disney Security department guidelines
Basic Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE:
• At least 1 year experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Post Production Environment
• Television Production
• Media Library
SKILLS:
• Familiarity with Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere
• PC and Mac proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to extrapolate next logical steps in a technical environment
• Ability to be supportive and proactive
• Exhibits a strong natural curiosity and is forward thinking
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in media related field or equivalent work experience
