We are looking for a Software Developer with a passion for learning, the aptitude for dealing with changing priorities and quick turnarounds, and a desire to help create the best tools for our pipeline and filmmaking applications. Geographic Location: This role is a Burbank, California-based position, with the intent to return to office at a later date to be determined. However, consideration will be made to qualified candidates for the following locations: San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Develop tools and processes for data feeds and consuming other data sources
• Build testing structures along with unit, regression, and load testing
• Provide regular reports are needed for analytical purposes
• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership
• Taking lead on projects, as needed

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field
• More education or experience may be required
• Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Java, PHP, or Python, and operating systems may be required
• Familiar with Business Intelligence tools such as MS Power BI
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or with a group

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVES)
• Experience working in front end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience working with database languages and architecture
• Previous experience working in a Feature or Streaming Production environment
• Previous experience working with Finance or Operations teams

REQUIRED EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related technical discipline
