Studio Operations is comprised of multiple disciplines related to the postproduction of our films. This includes localizing formats for global theatrical release, ensuring consistency and continuity in the voice and representation of our characters in media formats worldwide, ensuring secure delivery of films to exhibitors, retailers, and homes worldwide, converting of classic film content into digital formats, and managing of all Walt Disney Studios production and postproduction facilities (including sound stages and the Digital Studio).
The Walt Disney Studios is looking for an Associate Project Manager to preserve and improve the integrity of The Walt Disney Studios' historic and growing library of beloved films and television series.
The Associate Project Manager of Asset Management will work with internal and external teams to evaluate, compare, synergize and merge the 20th Century Fox and Walt Disney Studios' digital and physical libraries into a unified database(s) and across shared locations. Knowledge of both libraries preferred. This role will also be responsible for evaluating physical and digital assets in database/inventory systems, performing research, normalizing & improving data, as well as recommending elements to archive, retain for servicing library or purge. The job holder will also work with a team to manage incoming assets from vendor returns & closing vaults, develop processes for asset migration, database consolidation and special projects as they arise.

• Consider possible solutions when identifying problem
• Analyze research and propose solutions to determine the best work plan to alleviate production issues and improve processes
• Continually seek process improvements
• Work with internal teams to reach agreement on best practices
• Take Ownership of assigned projects and titles & provide solutions to workflow issues
• Use a wide range and depth of technical or specialized expertise to resolve problems
• See patterns that help to explain the root caused of complex problems

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous experience working on film and/or TV content
• Knowledge of physical and digital formats in film and television industry
• Working knowledge of film production, post production and supply chain processes
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Googledocs and Googlesheets
• Strong Interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong analytical background
• Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience working with physical and digital media formats (film, video, sound)
• Previous experience working in media library
• Demonstrated knowledge of metadata
• Previous experience gathering complex data from multiple sources
Preferred Education
• College Degree in media, archive, or library science strongly recommended
