This is a Part Time Paid Internship
This position is for the Motion Designer within StudioFX, part of the FX marketing team. We work along side the Content and Editorial team to create marketing spots for every FX produced shows.
Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Assiting our Production team in generating multiple versions for all marketing spots.
• Conceptual thinker, designing logos and styleframes, and animation.
• General office tasks
Basic Qualifications:
• Design, conceptual thinker, and off the box thinker
• Hard-working, self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Energized
• Should be relatively fluent in Adobe apps (Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects).
• Good Communication Skills
• Positive team-player
• Skilled multi-tasker
Preferred Qualifications:
• Adobe apps (Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects). Familiarity with Cinema 4D andResolve are a plus
• Prior internships or classes in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Visual Effects, Post Production, and the like, a plus.
Required Education
Current student or recent grad studying Graphic Design, Motion Design, 3D Design Film/Video Production , or related
Additional Information:
• At least 18 years of age
• Unrestricted work authorization
• Available part time (2-3 full days per week) from January through May
• Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation. Position is located in Los Angeles, CA.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester prior to participation in the internship program, or recently graduated within six months at time of application
