Responsibilities
The HR Specialist is the main point of service contact for client related questions and business issues including but not limited to HR policies, processes, leaves of absence, corrective actions, and staffing needs involving hiring approvals and position management. This role is expected to assess, prioritize and act on client requests as needed and communicate needs that require additional support to the appropriate source (i.e. Employee Relations, Compensation, Casting, Disney University, etc.). Additionally, the HR Specialist is also responsible for proactively providing support to local HRBP's for organization and cast effectiveness including but not limited to on-boarding, talent management, assessment deployment and drafting, recommendations and talent forecasting.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 3-years HR related experience
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with SAP, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Demonstrated guest/client service skills
• Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi task and manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and grammar skills
• Demonstrated strong follow through skills, with attention to detail
• Demonstrated initiative to take action to resolve issues, accomplish tasks, and improve efficiency
• Proven ability to maintain confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of SharePoint, D Learn, and HR Policies and Practices
• Demonstrated HR experience within the WDPR organization
• Ability to work in/support a team environment
• Demonstrated strong relationship skills
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
