This opportunity is exclusively for those students who have successfully completed the Disney College Program and would like to take part in a professional role at the Walt Disney World® Resort.
Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: planning, budgeting, executing and setting-up\breaking down all Housing events. You'll also participate in various trips offered to College, International and Professional Internship Program Participants. You will be creating a welcoming environment during the Day One Arrivals for our Domestic and International Participants by assisting with our Housing On-Boarding process. As our Intern you will be accountable for inventory and upkeep of props, decoration, dry stock and storage units. Along with their various daily tasks this team member will also support our various Housing Operations Partners as well as develop and maintain a positive working relationship with Cast Members, clients, internal partners and other operational areas.

• Must hold a valid U.S. driver's license and comfort in operating a 15 passenger company vehicle and box truck. Operating a company vehicle is required for this role. Candidate must be willing and able to operate a company vehicle under inclement weather, including minimal lighting
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in planning activities and events
• Budget management skills
• Previous experience as a Resident Assistant or Campus Activities Board Member
Required Education
• Currently earning a college/university degree as a junior or senior (and up to 6 months after graduation) for a major in Events, Marketing, Hospitality/Tourism, Public Relations or related major
Additional Information:
• At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from an accredited college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Be a former or current Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship Participant
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must provide full work availability
• Must provide own transportation to/from work
• Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length:
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2020 through January 2021. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
Housing: A limited amount of company-sponsored housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
