Director, Finance

This is a Full Time Job

We are seeking a highly motivated director that will provide support and administrative back-up to the Vice President of Finance as well as supervising the finance staff and coordinating the functions of the centralized Accounts Payable and Payroll units. The director will ensure the accurate and timely completion of all Fox internal and corporate financial reporting requirements. Prepare the weekly flash and forecasts, P&L updates, monthly full year forecasts and cash flow projections, month end market share reports and review of daily cash receipt postings. Manage and supervise the month end close including reviewing all journal entries and account reconciliations. Oversee the annual SOX testing and the related documentation in the corporate Risk Control Tracking System. Coordinate the preparation of the annual corporate budget package. Prepare various financial analyses on current operations. Oversee preparation of annual Federal & State tax packages. Candidate must possess solid working knowledge of Excel spreadsheet applications including file linking, pivot tables and macros. Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Hyperion and Wide Orbit preferred. Also, must desire upward mobility within the company and be geographically mobile. Candidate must have solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls and SOX compliance. Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational and analytical skills. Must be highly motivated with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must possess strong communication and management skills with the ability to effectively interact with various station management and personnel. Qualified applicants will possess a BA in Business, Finance or Accounting, a CPA or MBA is preferred. Three to five years of progressive television accounting experience with a minimum of three years in a management capacity. Knowledge of the broadcast industry and all phases of station operations highly desired. EOE M/F/D/V
