Voyage Media is looking for a Development Assistant for a work-from-home position.
Voyage is a rapidly growing, new-model studio that helps storytellers from around the world develop and produce film and television originals. We are looking for our next A-player to join our high-performing team and work hard to positively impact the entertainment industry.
The Development Assistant will be a key member of the operations and development teams and will be responsible for assisting in film and television screenplay development run on time and on budget. This position reports directly to the Development Manager.
Candidates must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment where communication and prioritization are essential for success. They are a motivated, self-starter who is tech-savvy and solution-oriented.
Qualifications & Skills:
-Passion and/or experience in film and television industry
-Enthusiasm for working as part of a small team and being self-directed and accountable for your work
-Picks up quickly on new software and database systems
-Ability to work well with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals
Responsibilities:
-Organize and arrange multiple project calendars & day-to-day calls, meetings, etc.
-Assist with project related support and interface with other departments
-Interact with clients to confirm appointments, facilitate meetings and provide status updates on ongoing projects
-Set up project pages and upload relevant materials to database
-Enter accurate and detailed information into tracking sheets
-General office/administrative tasks (Filing paperwork, answering phones)
-Participate in team meetings
Requirements:
1-2 years entertainment experience required
Outstanding people, phone, and computer skills
Highly values organization and attention to detail
The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Working knowledge of Google Products (Gmail, Cal, Meet, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
Must have a dedicated, quiet home office environment with high-speed Internet, a smartphone, and a computer.
