Voss Events is a multidisciplinary creative agency specializing in event design and production, promotions, tour management, talent management, influencer relations and content creation with a focus on the Drag World and LGBTQ+ community.
Job Description
We are seeking a full time Marketing Manager who can fit well within our team. This person will oversee marketing for all touring productions, one-off events, weekly brunch shows and may include some artist marketing.
What You'll Do
• Oversee marketing and promotions for all Voss Events tours and events. This includes shows outside of the US and Canada (i.e. Europe, South America, Australia, Asia)
• Develop and execute marketing plans for tours and all event
• Promote all weekly Drag Brunches and seek out partnerships when appropriate
• Negotiate and place print and online buys
• Work with media and promotional partners to develop contests and incentives
• Create and execute social media marketing campaigns, including building and managing Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts
• Build and exploit online/database resources
• Cultivate key professional relationships
• Maintain relationships with local and venue marketers
• Manage marketing budgets for tour
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree
• 4+ Years of experience
• 2+ Years of management experience (preferred)
• Innovative, self motivated, able to work with multiple time zones and willing to travel
• Experience with live event/concert/tour marketing
• Deep understanding of how to efficiently run and manage paid social campaigns (including Facebook ads)
• Experience with planning and running e-mail campaigns on MailChimp and others
• Strong computer skills in MS Office: word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
• Knowledge of the LGBTQ+ and Drag community (including slang and idioms) would be extremely beneficial but not necessarily required
