Summary
We are looking for a PRODUCTION COORDINATOR to join our VSI Los Angeles Office to work on Dubbing projects which are produced in our Los Angeles facility.
Your main goal will be to assist Dubbing Producers on daily production tasks helping them completing projects meeting VSI quality standards while maintaining client deadlines.
You will report to the VSI Los Angeles' Dubbing Production Supervisor, and you will get support from our technical and scheduling team.
This is a fulltime position and will be required to be on-site at our Van Nuys studio.
Key responsibilities
Working in conjunction with the group of Dubbing Producers, the Production Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all administrative needs of the production team. These duties include, but are not limited to:
• Update the asset delivery schedule with clients, dubbing directors, script adaptors, and internal teams as needed, ensuring adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
• Track and organize production elements such as, but not limited to, scripts and approvals.
• Ensure database is kept up to date with account information, projects notes, etc.
• Create audition sides and Voice Test Kits to aid in the casting process.
• Enter project information into Farmer's Wife and track progress throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Create dub talent list and Dub Cards at the end of each project, entering actor's names for each episode. Enter Dub Cards info on Netflix tool for Netflix projects.
• Create and fill in loop count for each project.
• Assist with QC'ing/creating English as Recorded scripts when needed.
• Track KNP terms, Showguide and Pronunciation guidelines for each assigned project.
• Attend weekly meetings with the director and Dubbing Producers to make sure the project is on track.
• Assist with actor's paperwork when needed (Preparing SAG packet for actors, updating Payroll tracker, Exhibit Gs etc…)
• Onboard external dubbing directors, adaptors, and voice actors while building strong relationships with them.
• Stay up to date on all project content to anticipate production needs.
Skills and Experience
• Prior administrative production experience in the entertainment/media industry is essential.
• Previous experience handling dubbing and subtitling localization projects highly desired.
• Strong and efficient computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus experience with project management, flowcharting and database software) using both PC and MAC.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective working relationships in person or remotely.
• Ability to work independently and proactively with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work 40 (or more) hours per week to fulfil position duties and responsibilities.
