Winter Intern - Development

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

VMI Worldwide is seeking a Development intern who can commit to 2 days/week (remote or in-person at our office in Hollywood). We are seeking an individual who is passionate about storytelling, writing, and reading. The focus of this role will be reading books and writing coverage. All books will be provided by our production team.

Start Date: February
Duration: 12 weeks (3 months)
Days Required: 2 days per week
This position can be worked remotely, in-person, or hybrid; Office located on Melrose Ave in Hollywood

VMI is looking for dedicated candidates with strong communication skills, both verbally and written, that can work efficiently under tight deadlines with the ability to quickly switch between tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the process of independent film production and distribution in a busy, fast-paced work environment.

We are looking for someone who can commit to a part-time internship for 12 weeks. The internship will count for school credit for student interns. VMI will be more than happy to provide a letter of recommendation at the end of your internship.

Previous experience in writing script coverage (ideal, but not required), samples may be requested from candidates moving on to the interview phase.
