Intern - Acquisitions And Development

VMI Worldwide is a production, sales and distribution company based in Los Angeles California. VMI specializes in producing, acquiring, selling and distributing top independent films in the worldwide marketplace. VMI is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, film loving interns to join our tightly knit team. Interns will get the opportunity to work closely with all departments and develop the experience needed to have a successful entertainment career. Tasks include script coverage, film tracking, festival tracking, assisting on projects in the pre-production stage, servicing assistance, sales assistance, and marketing assistance.
 
VMI is looking for passionate candidates that can work efficiently under tight deadlines, strong communicators, detail-oriented and capable of expressing opinions both verbally and written.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to learn the process of independent film production and distribution in a busy, fast-paced work environment.

We are looking for someone who can start this month with a two-day commitment to work IN PERSON with our team and for a time period of 3 months. Must have previous experience in writing script coverage samples will be requested. This internship will count for school credit for student interns.

Any experience in foreign sales, marketing, and/or event planning is a plus but not necessary.
