Head of Domestic Distribution and Sales

Oversee day-to-day operation with major domestic titles throughout sales lifecycle including communicating title availability, tracking developments in contract negotiations, and communicating closed deals internally to ensure proper contract compliance.

Work closely and be the day-to-day point person to all the major TVOD, SVOD/Pay TV, and AVOD platforms.

Active role in providing insight on possible film acquisitions.

Submit monthly spreadsheets to various TVOD platforms for upcoming releases.

Update all AVOD platforms with new available catalog titles and pitch for best placement.

Liaise between various groups to establish strong inter-departmental communication ensuring all departments are in sync and working effectively and efficiently to move initiatives forward. This includes, but is not limited to, marketing, operations, legal, motion picture and television development/production.

Creation of sales materials and support creation of marketing material

Work with producers to ensure a positive relationship experience with the company.

Supply information to our Canadian distributor and DVD distribution company.

Proactive in securing direct contracts with platforms in which VMI currently does not have in-house.

Attend and provide feedback in weekly internal meetings

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of related experience preferred
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to communicate to various departments
• Resourceful and proactive in finding solutions to complex problems with the ability to communicate those solutions to executive leadership
