ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Wardrobe Stylist to execute creative styling for both male and female models for various productions across our network of studios. Reporting directly to the Wardrobe Manager, the Stylist will be work in close tandem with various team members within the Creative, Art and Production departments, therefore he/she will need to work well in both team and individual settings.
The Wardrobe Stylist will support the process for VMG video and photo productions by working with the Director and in-house art and creative teams to present looks based on the script, casting, style guidelines, and overall art direction. He/ she will also communicate directly and frequently with the models for schedule fittings, request sizing information, etc, in order to ensure both pre-shoot and onset workflow and execution run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This person keeps project records up-to-date daily and proactively flags potential issues that impact timing, delivery, and budget. He/She will also be responsible for purchasing garments, doing set runs, (pick-ups, and returns) when required as well as inventory management and tracking with the support of the Wardrobe Manager.
Our ideal candidate is an expert in fashion with several years of TV/film production. They have on-set styling experience, deep product/brand knowledge, and have their finger on the pulse of trend forecasting. She/He is a strong communicator who is able to handle a myriad of responsibilities and work closely with team members, models, and crew. They take feedback constructively and contribute to an environment of communication and accountability. This is a dynamic, high-volume position that requires a proactive problem-solver who is able to prioritize, pivot, and exercise good judgment. This role interacts closely and frequently with various cross-functional teams therefore strong communication, interpersonal skills, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving competencies are crucial.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct off and on-set wardrobe fittings for both female and male models on a regular basis.
Conduct ongoing browsing on and offline stores in order and create trend/style lookbooks and reference mood boards and trend forecasts.
Adhere to brand guidelines in order to style a wide variety of products for on-model photo and video productions
Act as point person on-set for Director, Photographer, and Art Director for style direction
Regularly communicate with VMG talent /models for sizing, fitting appointments, etc.
Troubleshoot styling challenges on-set using knowledge of the visual brand guidelines
Execute shopping runs, pick-ups, and returns when required.
Ensure all purchases and supporting receipts are logged and tracked for cost tracking and budgetary purposes.
Analyze styling productivity to help contribute and implement process improvements
Unpack, prep and steam all merchandise for shoot racks
Take an orderly approach when onset and offset by, keeping the wardrobe office and studio spaces clean, organized, and equipped with all necessary tools
Ensure all wardrobe and accessories are returned and inspected after every shoot
Assist in tracking and maintaining wardrobe room and on-set inventory
SCHEDULE
Full-Time Position - Monday through Friday 9 am - 6 pm
Occasionally, additional hours may be needed during high production season
24/7 Mentality (production hours and production pace)

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in fashion design, marketing, or merchandising
Minimum of 3-5 years of wardrobe styling experience in TV/Film production (on and offset)
Proficiency in project management and budgeting software (Excel, Smartsheets, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Experience with budget management and/or inventory management
Strong attention to detail within outfitting and confidence to try new brand right ideas
Efficient at managing a high volume of projects and adhering to deadlines
Strong communication skills including the ability to work in a team environment
The ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
Experience with covid protocols
