Salesforce Developer (Hybrid, Burbank California)
Visual Data Media Services provides a full spectrum of both traditional post production and file mastering, transformation and storage services, aimed at meeting the skyrocketing demand for digital media fulfillment. We are currently searching for a Salesforce Developer in our Global Business Systems department, located in Burbank, CA. This will be a hybrid role with 1-2 days per week in our Burbank office.
Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Salesforce developer to design, maintain and grow our emerging suite of Salesforce-based applications. As a Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also analyze project objectives, create customer workflows, and troubleshoot errors.
To ensure success as a Salesforce developer, you should have extensive experience working with Salesforce platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce developer can create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that meet the changing needs of the company.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions and integrations
Participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements
Collaborate inter-departmentally to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Create testing and implementation plans, including user training and documentation
Writing documents and providing technical training for end users
Maintain the security and integrity of the application software
Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices
Troubleshoot and fix any errors, defects or bugs in our deployment
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology
Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues
Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a team and independently, to perform multiple tasks
Deep understanding of the Salesforce IDE
Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, Lightning and VisualForce
The minimum and maximum annualized range for this position is $75,000-$100,000 for California. • The starting salary within the range will depend on a variety of factors that may include relevant prior experience and/or education, or skills and expertise.
