Visual Data Media Services provides a full spectrum of both traditional post production and file mastering, transformation and storage services, aimed at meeting the skyrocketing demand for digital media fulfillment. Our newly constructed facility is custom designed to support fulfillment of content owners' broadcast and internet distribution needs.

We are excited to announce that we currently have a position open for a Business Systems Applications Manager, in our Business Systems department, located in Burbank, California. Salary range is $90k-$110k DOE.
Position Overview
The Business Systems department is responsible for building, integrating, and maintaining software applications that benefit our staff and clients. These applications range from order and asset management to revenue and cost reporting.
We are looking for a leader to own and evolve our off-the-shelf and bespoke business applications, making sure our systems are fit for purpose and being analyzed for continuous optimization. The role is primarily concerned with full engagement with stakeholders, assessing the value of their requirements, how to solution architect those requirements, and deciding their priority for either configuration or development in our applications.
Post configuration/development cycles, the Business Systems Applications Manager will launch the changes to the business, including change management and post go live support, being involved in writing up any bug fixes and/or additional change requests
Responsibilities
Own the product life cycle of any changes required in our applications, including discovery, planning, delivery, product acceptance, and user handover.
Providing second-line support to our Support Administrator, who may escalate support tickets.
Monitor the status of ongoing work and articulate progress, dependencies, and risks to the Director of Global Business Systems.
Provide product training to superusers.
Raise and track issues with our vendor and developers; providing additional information when needed and validating solutions when provided.
Own the software upgrade process.
Create, maintain, and engage with test scripts.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience in order management / ERP systems are essential.
Experience in systems administration is required.
Experience of Xytech's MediaPulse, JIRA, and ZenDesk would be advantageous
You will have experience of collecting user stories.
Listening to user requirements and translating them into documentation that forms the basis for configuration or developers to work from.
Writing training documentation and creating training videos.
Be a problem solver, capable of driving a user-centered approach to product discovery and development.
Interacting directly with users.
Be familiar with coding technologies and development.
Have bug testing experience and the ability to document for remediation.
Ability to prioritize, manage and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent IT skills and a good knowledge of SQL.
A learning mind-set and ability to pick up new skills
Excellent verbal communications skills. Approachable, friendly and able to build rapport.
Good written communication, able to quickly record details of problems and solutions as they arise.
