Position Summary:
The Director of Logistics role is to manage and lead all data and physical media resources including, Data I/O, Asset Ingest, Data Management & Vault Services. This role will require that you work closely with Operations, IT and Customer Communication Teams to optimize data and physical asset management resources efficiently in support of the business. The ability to manage complex and time sensitive projects in support of new customers and business initiatives will be required as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee day to day physical and media management teams
Maximizes efficiency, staff utilization, and costs by improving processes
Establish processes for tracking, goal monitoring, and forecasting
Create performance metrics for all direct reports
Lead, motivate, develop, and support direct reports
Interface, liaise, and work directly with other departments within organization (Finance, Language Service, Client Services, Operations, IT/Engineering and Sales)
Manage complex division projects and lead teams to complete projects in a successful and timely manner
Drive consistency and coordination between various company divisions, managing any integration processes for mergers/acquisitions
Provides high level planning support to the VP, Operations and drive various operations and staff development programs
Participate, present, and lead in various training within the company
Undertake additional department duties as required
Education and Experience:
5+ years' experience in post-production, multimedia and/or creative production environment
Results oriented with strong attention to detail
Experience with organizing and managing multiple projects and priorities
Exceptional senior leadership skills and experience
Proven ability to lead and effectively participate in executive meetings, including presentations and status report
Bachelor's degree in Management related field preferred

Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Skill in communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
Physical Demands:
Continual computer keyboard and monitor use while sitting to perform desk-related work for extended periods of time.
Continual use of telephone system to receive and convey information
Occasional walking, grasping, reaching, bending, carrying, and lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
Position may require employee to be available to work overtime, depending on the Company service requirements
Position requires employee to be available to work at least 8 hours a day and 5 days a week, depending on the Company scheduling requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
