Visit Films is seeking a full time Library Coordinator to support our team in the worldwide sales, marketing and distribution of feature films and documentaries around the world.
Main duties for the position include exploiting and managing our library catalog of over 300 films, selling to broadcasters and platforms around the world and maximizing revenue opportunities, while reporting to the Director of Sales. This role will also exploit library titles for in-person non-theatrical engagements, reporting to the Director of Festivals and Non-Theatrical Bookings. Additional work assisting with theatrical distribution through Monument Releasing will be expected. The right candidate will be able to work to optimize sales strategies and assist with the needs of territorial clients throughout the world for film licensing in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
The position is currently virtual, while the company transitions to its future home base in Los Angeles. Residency in LA will likely be required in the coming 1-2 years. Possible travel to film festivals and markets may be required of the job.
This is a job for someone who wants to learn every aspect of sales and distribution. This is not a creative film job.
Main Responsibilities:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifying digital and non-theatrical partners
Pitching library titles to targeted platforms, cinemas, and regions
Managing materials for digital releases
Managing the print traffic of DCPs and other screening files to exhibition venues
Collecting and organizing ancillary materials for releases and screenings
Maintaining an accurate record of workflow for each film
Expanding our database of venues and theatrical contacts
Researching new broadcasters and platforms, domestically and internationally, building new relationships and maintaining existing partnerships in order to achieve sales goals and targets.
Identifying ancillary opportunities for revenue
Working closely with leadership to guide library sales strategy on a territory-by-territory basis.
Expanding distribution reach by cultivating new relationships with international distributors, broadcasters
and platforms
Negotiating and drafting favorable contracts in a timely manner to achieve long term revenue goals and maintain growth.
Pitching library slates to international buyers and closing licensing deals.
Working closely with all other departments (marketing, materials, accounting, festivals) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the sales and delivery process.
Preparing availability reports for international and domestic distributors/broadcasters.
Support for theatrical distribution with Monument Releasing
Experience and Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree required. Work experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Workspace products including Excel and database software (Pipeliner CRM / FilmTrack preferred but not required). Ability to quickly become familiar with new software and emerging platforms/apps.
• Experience with Adobe Suite, Mailchimp (email marketing), concepts of technical film delivery preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in sales/marketing ability and enthusiasm to learn about the intricacies of the film sales business and its environment (should not be afraid of numbers and legal language).
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a specific focus on attention to detail and ORGANIZATION.

• Comfortable working with people who are traveling internationally and in various time zones.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to the demands of the job, meeting strict deadlines, problem-solving skills, remaining flexible, calm and focused while multitasking in high pressure situations.
• Experience with/interest in independent film strongly preferred. Sales experience (in any industry) also helpful.
• Enthusiastic and personable, ability to speak to clients with comfort and ease.
•.General intelligence and problem solving skills.
• Fluency in at least one foreign language helpful.
• A strong love of travel and social environments.
• A born seller and hustler. Ambitious and self-directed.

Pay - $38,000-$42,000 based on experience. Profit sharing pending company financial results.
