Role: Quality Assurance Tester - Digital Services
United States - Remote
Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for ensuring that our various digital products meet our usability and performance standards, providing our customers the best possible experience when using our SaaS products. The QA Tester is expected to investigate customer complaints as reported by the Customer Success Team.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
• Test/confirm bug remediation and new features using manual and/or automated tests
• Develop and document testing procedures
• Periodic regression testing to spot any unintended consequences of new features or bug fixes
• Document issues that negatively affect the User Experience, including performance problems, UI inconsistencies, spelling/grammar inconsistencies, and general errors
• Reproduce and document customer-reported problems
• Coordinate ad-hoc testing and reporting with the Customer Success and Development teams
• Fully utilize our supported platforms:
o Various web browsers/operating systems, including Windows, OSX, etc.
o Various mobile apps - Android and iOS
o Hardware-specific apps - Roku and Apple TV
o Toolbox includes Jira, Confluence, Slack, Zoom, various office applications, and graphics software.
Position Requirements
• Proficiency in a variety of operating systems and hardware
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including writing instructional documents
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team
• Experience using a machine virtualization platform is a plus
• Prior QA experience preferred
• US-only telecommuting position; Must be available during business hours in Pacific Standard Time
