Role:
Independent worldwide film sales and production company specializing in new films, library and film markets is seeking an International Sales and Acquisitions Coordinator.
Day to day tasks include generating sales leads, preparing creative marketing materials, scheduling meetings for upcoming film markets, liaison between multiple departments, reading scripts/coverage, conduct global research and provide analysis, analyze and interpret content license agreements, updating rights management inventory, and administrative duties for the Head of International Sales and Acquisitions. Additional responsibilities include negotiating and discussing sales offers with clients in over 50 international territories, building strong distributor relationships and arranging this company's presence at major film markets (Cannes, EFM, Filmart, MIP, AFM), in its entirety.
The ideal candidate is extremely organized, efficient, sociable, quick-thinking and has the ability to clearly communicate with team-members and clients. Lots of opportunity for growth and travel.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year assistant experience required.
Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience
Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
Maintain firm attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a strong professional representative on an international stage.
Must be familiar with the entertainment industry and demonstrate enthusiasm to learn business fundamentals.
Knowledge of the international licensing landscape, possess contacts and networks are a bonus.
Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and becoming familiar with existing systems.
Strong command of Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.
Passport required.
