Research Internships - Summer 2022 (Multiple Locations)
In the ViacomCBS Summer Internship Program, interns will be working in a vibrant and inclusive environment alongside employees from different backgrounds. In addition to hands-on experience our programs include networking, mentorship, resume workshops, speaker sessions, career development, visibility to top industry executives, and much more.

Research analyzes and interprets viewing behavior and content consumption across multiple platforms including linear television, social/digital and streaming services. Research provides key stakeholders with data-driven recommendations and viewing trends to help them make informed decisions. Such stakeholders include Programming, Production & Development, Marketing, Press and Senior Leadership. Research teams use both quantitative and qualitative methods to develop an understanding of each network's target audience.
Areas of research include, but are not limited to:
• Linear Analytics- domestic and international television analytics based primarily on Nielsen ratings
• Social/Digital Analytics- measures our content's performance on social media, partner platforms and owned/operated sites
• Consumer Insights- utilizes qualitative means such as focus groups, surveys and brand awareness tracking
Several of these areas have a cross-pollination of multiplatform tracking and measurement, and also incorporate strategic insights to tell data-driven stories.
