Overview:
Senior Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the successful completion of high-profile projects supporting global consumer products/product development for priority intellectual properties, Movie Guides, Core Style and Packaging guides, and character art illustrations.
Responsibilities:
• Build clear and concise plan to complete projects and monitor progress: Define activity, sequence of activity, estimate the duration of activity based on budget and develop schedule
• Coordinate and prioritize Creative Teams workload by steering the team down a clear path to final goal
• Mentor and coach junior level team and project managers
• Bring solutions to supervisor for day-to-day challenges and align on next steps
• Establish and manage relationships with Franchise Planning, LOBs, PD teams, Production, Marketing, Legal, Standards, Talent, Digital Asset Management, External Partners, and International teams to ensure approval process runs efficiently
• As assigned by supervisor, or proactively, tackle special projects
• Act as liaison between Creative Team, PD leads, Franchise Planning, Business Team and outside agencies and/or partners to keep knowledge/information flowing seamlessly
• Receive briefs/assignment sheets from GCG Strategy and Franchise Planning teams, Sales to ensure project team understands goals
• Coordinate and lead all aspects of kick off meetings with Key Partners which include: GCG Strategy Team, Franchise Planning, Global PD Leads, Design and Illustration AD's and Partners.
• For all assigned projects, build and maintain Smartsheet project schedule and budget approved by assignment requestor.
• Organize and facilitate 101 meetings with internal teams and external partners
• Organize and facilitate creative review meetings with EIC/ Show Creators and external Partners to ensure approval process runs efficiently and effectively.
• Facilitate all watermarking requests.
• Route all rounds of creative for feedback to appropriate partners including Franchise Planning, Business, Global PD Leads, GCG executives, EIC, and show production.
• Forward approved project estimates to assignment requestor, partners, collaborators and Finance Team
• Work interdepartmentally acquire assets for Creative Team
• Confirm team have all elements needed for assigned projects
• Review all assigned creative before routing to partners to confirm all business goals and comments are met
• Supervise direct-report (if applicable) by syncing up daily, reviewing status reports weekly and offering advice/assistance
• Responsible for uploading and downloading files from/to the server for agencies
• Ensure that feedback is received and compiled on time
• Negotiate and resolve any conflicts for projects (timing, budget, scope)
• Communicate clearly and concisely (through both verbal and written communication) throughout the lifecycle of the project via agendas, recaps, updates, approvals and meeting requests
• Coordinate and confirm daily that the creative team meets project schedule deadlines
• Route final mechanicals to Illustration, Editorial, Legal, Standards, Production Management and Digital Asset Management teams
• Prioritize and update server with all documents, creative, digital files and emails for all projects
• Set up vendors and freelancers in our payment systems
• Populate contracts and timesheets for freelancers and vendors
• Process, track and digitally file billing/invoices for all requests, codes each request with appropriate cost center/project # and submit to Finance
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• At least 3-5 years of managerial experience

• Articulate, flexible, collaborative and approachable
• Curiosity about and understanding of graphics, illustration and production
• Knowledge of Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred
