We are seeking a passionate Senior Coordinator, Audience Development for the MTV Entertainment Group (MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, CMT, Paramount Network, TV Land, Smithsonian Channel, Pop TV, and Logo) to help lead all aspects of our many YouTube channels. This candidate will optimize and promote video content, interact with fans on the YouTube platform, and drive awareness and engagement for the brands and shows that fall under our group! The role works with several different teams within the organization, including digital design, video production, franchise and brand social, and more!
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the programming of multiple YouTube channels across the MTV Entertainment Group (MTV, VH1, CMT, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, TV Land, Smithsonian, PopTV, LogoTV)
• Facilitate videos between third party channel management company and various internal video teams
• Lead community management of YouTube channels – interacting with fans, replying to comments, creating social posts on the platform to promote various initiatives
• Work alongside Senior Manager, Audience Development in developing platform-specific video programming strategies rooted in both data insights and creative instinct that drive viewership, watch time, engagement, and revenue
• Engage with multiple video teams across the org to provide insights and standard methodologies for original content, linear based content, and event content
• Assist in creating cross-platform competitive reports and monitor social landscape for video trends and formats
• Knowledgeable in Excel and quick learner on research/analytical tools
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of standard methodologies across platforms for video distribution
• Comfortable working independently to execute projects and adhere to deadlines while working collaboratively with a dedicated team
• Manage multiple newsletters for digital org.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years digital experience
• Knowledgeable on YouTube platform
