Overview and Responsibilities
ViacomCBS’ US Networks Distribution (USND) team is responsible for monetization and distribution of our linear Networks and associated VOD to MVPDs, virtual MVPDs, and mobile platforms.
The Business Development & Operations team within USND is focused on deal negotiation and execution of new media rights (e.g. Advanced Advertising, VOD, TVE, new formats) as well as operations and delivery of content.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Coordinator supports the team’s day-to-day activities (i) distribution of ViacomCBS linear signals; (ii) on-boarding & supporting non-linear distribution e.g. VOD; (iii) business solutions and the associated processes.
Core Responsibilities include:
Signal Management
• Manage linear signal distribution, which includes daily interactions with distribution partners, transporters, billing cooperatives and internal partners
• Performing signal reconciliations to ensure the ongoing accuracy of data
• Facilitating signal related projects, such as satellite and technology changes
New Media Operations
• Supporting the day-to-day operations around existing new media product deployments and on-boarding new partners
Business Solutions Management
• Providing business support for the suite of applications e.g. Salesforce, SharePoint and viacomcbsaffiliate.com. This includes training users, troubleshooting issues and developing business requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
• 1 – 3 years industry experience preferred (strong internship experience considered)
• Strong Excel skills, with proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
• Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills and ability to interface across multiple levels, and across groups
• Detail-oriented, reliable and a self-starter who is capable of multi-tasking
