Insights play a central role at ViacomCBS Streaming, and as part of the Data & Insights Group (DIG), our Research team is a crucial part of our success. This is a great opportunity for an experienced researcher with a background working with marketing teams. Our team is collaborative and passionate and aims to drive business decisions on all levels through high quality, accurate, timely, relevant data, analysis and insights. This position will primarily focus on managing and conducting a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research to support the Paramount Brand, Retention and Acquisition marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantitative and qualitative creative testing research methodologies.
Day-to-Day Primary Responsibilities:
• Act as a thought leader in the domain of research, while advocating for people who use our products
• Provide senior executives, product and marketing teams with market and consumer research to support strategy development
• Recommend appropriate research methodologies to answer questions from stakeholders
• Design and execute both quantitative and qualitative research studies
• Communicate insights in a compelling and creative way through storytelling and data visualization
• Run ad hoc analyses to answer specific day to day questions or support larger initiatives
• Mentor other researchers and maintain a high standard of work
Key Projects (including but not limited to):
• Campaign Evaluations through focus groups, IDI or surveys
• Conduct audience surveys for retention purposes
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of relevant market research experience with a proven track record of conducting research that drives significant business impact, preferably in digital subscription services and/or digital media
• Highly competent with quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Experience with using or building dashboards.
• Skilled in preparing effective and meaningful presentations with clear narratives and impactful graphics to drive business decisions
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, but also able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• Exceptional analytical abilities and strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Have a passion for streaming entertainment content
Additional Qualification:
• Experience with survey-based and analysis tools, such as SPSS and Qualtrics
